LIVING RIGHT Health CounsellorsInspired to Share The Living Hope Health Counsellors work intimately and tirelessly with those being tested for HIV to bring comfort and inspiration to those discovering their positive status. One such story of this work is that of a woman who just recently tested positive for HIV. The Health Counsellors, as they do for so many, went to visit this woman at her home to provide her with counselling and encouragement. They found her very depressed and unstable in response to her recent news. The counsellors spent time with her, praying with her, talking through her thoughts and struggles, educating her and simply being there with her, striving to bring her comfort and hope. A few weeks later, the counsellors returned to spend more time with her. Only, this time, they found her in higher spirits and inspired. She had been moved and encouraged by the work the Health Counsellors had done for her and was ready to share that encouragement with others. She asked if she could go with the counsellors to visit other ladies to help provide them with the same comfort, encouragement and inspiration that she had received. This was a major breakthrough and a testimony to the work being done by these faithful and passionate counsellors. All honor and glory to God!
