This afternoon a fire broke out in the Wetlands area of Masiphumelele according to Disaster Management they estimate between 200 – 450 homes could have been affected, the exact number will only be known a little later. According to on the ground reports there have been no fatalities. For those who would like to assist in donating items – the needs are: soap and hygiene products, household items (pots, pans, blankets etc) – these items can be dropped off at Living Hope’s main gates with security or at the Masiphumelele Community Hall
